hi all,

i have implemented a graph based report. the graph is displaying the number of errors on my system. i have the type of error on the y axis and the number of their occurences on the x axis (horizonal layout).

now my problem is that i am getting a lot of repetitive pages depending on the number of error messages. so if the graph displays 13types of error messages i am getting 13 pages of report.

obviously i only want one or two pages to contain the entire report and not 13.

can somebody tell me what i am doing wrong or what setting i should change.

i just deleted my graph and i still get a 13page report, which tells me that my SQL query is returning an entry which is 13rows and jasper takes that figure and outputs that many pages. technically my SQL query is not wrong as its outputting the total number of rows i want, but i dont want jasper to generate that many pages.

can somebody tell me how to change this so that irrespective the number of rows returned jasper only generates one page.
