Storing Prints with JRPrintXmlLoader

Hello,

 

to this time I'd stored JasperPrint's with

JRSaver in my database.

 

I've read in this forum that JasperPrint

although can be exported to XML and then

be created by JRPrintXmlLoader.

This avoids the InvalidClassException

between different versions.

 

I've tested successfully to export in version

0.6.4 and load a JasperPrint in 0.6.5 and 1.0.1.

Now I will switch to this way.

 

But what is now with the compatibility to

future versions of JasperReports.

 

Is it confirmed that any jasperprint.dtd

of any comming version is working with the

older xml-Prints?

 

Does anyone have experience with

deprecated Features like ReportFonts

while converting JasperPrints to new

Versions?
