Export to PDF file in THAI font.Possible?

Hi guy

I need to export the report to PDF file in Thai character.But i can't see any font and any encode for THAI character.How to do this thing? Anyone who know some solutions please help me.

PS. I try to use true type font and identify-H encoding but it doesn't work.

The encoding is "Identity-H". Use a font with the Thai characters like arialuni.ttf.

thank for your help psoares33.But when i did follow your suggestion it doesn't work.When i use adobe acrobat to open the file it showed error "There was error opening document".i don't know i did anything wrong?This is some xml.Please help me again.

pdfFontName must be the full path to the font either on file or as a resource.

Are you sure no exception is thrown and you have an incomplete pdf?

Other frequent problem is that the static text is ok but the text retrieved from the database is not in the correct encoding and doesn't show correctly.

Thanks a bunch, psoares33. Using full path is a big pain in the a**. Is it possible that we can use relative path ? If a relative path isn't allowed in "pdfFontName", can we use it somewhere else ? Like in a resource ? What is a resource and how to use it ,bytheway ? :)

You can use relative paths but the question is: relative to what? You don't want to go that way.

Another option is to put the ttf somewhere accessible by the classpath either in the lib or classes dir.
