JasperReport with Applet

I am developing a Web application and using example "webapp" with JApplet (jasperreportsdemosampleswebappapplets), for generation of reports.

 

My doubt is as I make to allow the user to inform the parameters of the report, for example to inform a "Nº de Pedido: " and to pass this parameter for the Servlet that is used in the JApplet.

I don't understand the second paragraph. Is it a question or it is a comment?

 

But if you're asking how to pass a parameter from an applet to the servlet, I think you're asking in the wrong forum.

I have similar situation, but I passed parameter within session to class JasperServletPrint.
