XMLDatasource select expression

Hi,
I am using the XML datasource, and was just wondering if there is a way to access a select expression variable that has been set for the report?
Thanks,
michelle

The XML datasource class doesn't expose this information so I don't think you can access it from within your report.

Do you use report parameters for the select expression?

Hi,
Thanks for your responses. I have just changed my reports to use parameters (instead of the select expression) so that I can overcome the problem of not being able to access the select expression.
thanks,
michelle
