Hi all,

I would like to have the user of my reports have the option of inserting page breaks on the group level.

 

I realize that there is an attribute in the group section named 'isStartNewPage'

 

My question is, is there a way I can dynamically set this attribute using a parameter passed into the report?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

 

You could modify this flag on the JasperReport object

after you load it from the *.jasper file using

the JRLoader and before passing it to the report-filling routines.

 

This can be seen in the "alterdesign" sample where

element colors are changed on-the-fly.
