I am deploying a java client that shows a a jaspererport in a a panel. The report design is using pdfFontName="Helvetica-Bold" size="12" for pageheaders.

The content gets displayed on linux clients but doen not gets displayed on windows client. If i change the size from 12 to 10 then it displayes on windows as well..

Any thoughts?

yep-just went through all this for many, many reports i made under linux and wouldn't show under winDoze -- you have to increase the text height by one for windows, i have found whatever the point size of the font the text height is + 3, even thogh +2 works for linux.

 

(btw--spent a lot of time trying specify same source ttf's for both platforms but finally gave up so that i could make some money, instead[!])
