Excel column has exponential values - HELP!!!

2005-04-08 11:57

I have autodetect cell type set to true when generating an Excel document. The issue is I get a value that I want represented as text contains only numbers, and Excel formats it into an exponent (ex. 1.14 E-14)

I can not remove autodetect cell type, because there are numerical values that I must have the cell formated as a number.

Does anyone know of a workaround to force a cell or a column to be represented as text, even if it has a number in it?

Thanks.

Brent
