Exporting to Excel using Jasper

when i am trying to export the reports to Excel File From Jasper Reports, if the report contains 2 or 3 pages it is working properly,

If i am trying to export the report containing more than 10 pages then i got the following error.

 

In the log file

Microsoft Office Excel File Repair Log

Errors were detected in file report_68_112_P[1].xls'

The following is a list of repairs:

 

Damage to the file was so extensive that repairs were not possible. Excel attempted to recover your formulas and values, but some data may have been lost or

 

corrupted.

 

 

help me in this issue.

I don't know if it's related, but you can't have more than 64000 records in an excel spreadsheet or something like that. Dunno. You might try looking up 'excel record limit' or some such, if that is the problem.

but in my report it is not exceeding the excel record limit.My report will contain about 500 records only.

is there any one to help my issue.

i solve this.

This was a problem with older versions of POI.

By upgraqding Recent versions of JasperReports come with POI 2.0, i solved it.
