2004 IR Help
By: Danny Gaethofs - dgaethofs Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute 2005-02-25 07:09 dear all, I downloaded the jar file jasperreports-0.6.4. When I double-click it I get the error: Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute form. I am on Windows XP. I could build the jar myselve using my Eclipse environment or BlueJ, but because I know most of the times this requires me to investigate the build file I rather like to use the jar file. Or maybe there is someon who already created the jar using eclipse or bluej and has a script available . regards, Danny Gaethofs By: C-Box - c-box RE: Failed to load Main-Class manifest attrib 2005-02-27 23:00 What do you expect from starting the JasperReports JAR???? AFAIK, it's just a library for generating reports and exporting it to some files (PDF/HTML/ ... and so on) and not an executable program like IReport (a designer for building JasperReports) So perhaps you should post what you want to do or read the introduction on JasperReports homepage?!?! hth C-Box By: Danny Gaethofs - dgaethofs RE: Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute 2005-03-05 07:43 What I expect is that when I double click the jar file something happens either a user interface is launched or files are unpacked. But instead it is giving me an error. By the way I have read the introduction is not giving me an answer what I should do after I downloaded the jar file. Is there somewhere a clear explanation how to use jasperreports? regards
