HTML exporter: output size
2004-04-07 03:13
I would like to have a HTML which is about the same size as the PDF viewed at 100% zoom. The HTML exporter generates nicely formatted output, however it is too small.
The measurement units used in a Jasper Design is points, which is defined 1/72 inch. The HTML exporter however supposes all units are pixels. Of course the pixel size depends on your monitor and screen resolution, but Windows defaults to 1/96 inch. Acrobat uses this setting when displaying a PDF at 100%. As a result, the report in HTML is just 72/96=75% of its size in PDF.
Is it possible to resize a Jasper report before or during HTML generation?
