How to support big5 (Chinese Encoding)

Dear all,
Is it possible to do this or must we use unicode?
I tried this
<reportFont name="Arial_Normal" isDefault="true" fontName="Arial" size="12" pdfFontName="Helvetica" pdfEncoding="big5" isPdfEmbedded="false"/>
but I still cant do it please help

You must use Unicode. The built-in font Helvetica only have roman characters.
