embedding hyperlinks in excel

Is there a way to embed hyperlinks in the cells of an excel report generated by jasper?

I have used the hyperlink element, and the links appear in an HTML report, but not in the excel report.

Hi,

We use the Jakarta POI library to export to XLS format.
I haven't found support for hyperlinks in POI.
Images are not supported either.
