Hello...

 

My report uses the summary band to output some data (about three pages) in certain conditions. And I want to start in a new page.

 

My problem is that when the summary contains no data a new blank page appears at the end of the report...

 

How can i tell jasperreports to output that page only when summary has data?

 

I also tried to use groups to start a new page but in that case my html report has a space between pages (about four lines) even if i set the BETWEEN_PAGES_HTML parameter to blank

exporter.setParameter(JRHtmlExporterParameter.BETWEEN_PAGES_HTML, "");

 

So how can i solve this problem?

Hi,

 

If you can anticipate that the summary section

will be empty, use the <printWhenExpression> of the

summary band to supress the summary.

The empty last page will not be created.
