2002 JI Open Discussion Posted August 18, 2006 Share Posted August 18, 2006 By: vivek srinivasan - viveksrinivasan type casting problem 2003-09-18 07:55 in the query: select * from sqldiscount where store_id='$P{storepar}' and tran_date>='2003-08-01' and tran_date<='2003-08-25' order by d_disamt desc I get the following error when compiling java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][sqlServer 2000 Driver for JDBC][sqlServer]Error converting data type varchar to numeric. the store_id is of type integer.Is there any way of overcoming this!
