in the query:

select * from sqldiscount where store_id='$P{storepar}' and tran_date>='2003-08-01' and

tran_date<='2003-08-25' order by d_disamt desc

 

I get the following error when compiling

 

java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][sqlServer 2000 Driver for JDBC][sqlServer]Error converting data type varchar to numeric.

 

the store_id is of type integer.Is there any way of overcoming this!

yeah, remove the quotes around the $P!{storepar}
