we are making dynamic reports (nodesign.xml) and found that if you do put in a height for a element the system will continue to generate a large html/pdf file and crush your server. we were able to create a 350+mg html file. Would be nice to have the verifydesign method check for this. it doesn't appear to...Anyone else have this problem...?

Hello.

 

I'm using Win98 with 96MB RAM. There are about 30000 rows in MySQL and I want jasper to create a report with 3 grouping levels.

 

I've got java.lang.OutOfMemory error. Any ideas on how to fix this? Is there any settings to allow JAVA to use virtual memory in Disk?

 

Please help ASAP! :(
