Encoding Problem in Query

Dear All,
I have a database with 1256 encoding and use jasper to make my reports. First time I use a fix query with parameter and pass the paramter with cp1256 encoding to it and it works. Next time I want to make a dynamic query and this time I pass the query to xml which contains the charcters with cp1256 encoding. It's same as the upper one but It doesn't work. How can I solve this problem ?
