Vertical alignment of text.

Hi,

I was wandering - is there a way to align text vertically in the reportElement as well or you just have to do with absolute positioning?

 

It is kind of tiring to try and position header text for different columns manually.

 

Any help is very appreciated.

Hi,

 

Are you talking about a tool that would help you

align your elements in the report design?

Or about a setting at text element level to indicate

that the text content should be align to the top of

the report element, to the bottom or to the middle?

Something like "textAlignment" attribute, but on the

vertical axis.

I meant something like "textAlignment" attribute, but on the vertical axis.

 

The tool for (vertical) text aligning would be very helpful indeed, but I certainly realize that it is not something to be done soon.

 

Thus I would like to know if you have already built-in parameter or some way besides indicating ordinate axis manually to align text Vertically.

The "verticalAlignment" is available in recent versions

of the library.
