2002 JI Open Discussion
By: Moisey Blehman - rhal Vertical alignment of text. 2002-12-19 06:48 Hi, I was wandering - is there a way to align text vertically in the reportElement as well or you just have to do with absolute positioning? It is kind of tiring to try and position header text for different columns manually. Any help is very appreciated. Or about a setting at text element level to indicate that the text content should be align to the top of the report element, to the bottom or to the middle? Something like "textAlignment" attribute, but on the vertical axis. Thank you, Teodor By: Chuck Deal - cdeal RE: Vertical alignment of text. 2002-12-19 10:49 I would support the idea of a vertical text alignment atribute. By: Moisey Blehman - rhal RE: Vertical alignment of text. 2002-12-20 00:53 I meant something like "textAlignment" attribute, but on the vertical axis. The tool for (vertical) text aligning would be very helpful indeed, but I certainly realize that it is not something to be done soon. Thus I would like to know if you have already built-in parameter or some way besides indicating ordinate axis manually to align text Vertically. Thank you for help. Thank you, Teodor
