Hi,

 

I have created an "fake" band in my master report. The footer of this "fake" band includes the subreport.

 

How can i hide or suppress the "fake" band when the subreport is an empty report ?

possibly make both the band and subreport height=0. You may also need to make a few settings as to the stretching of the subreport.

 

This way, is the subreport is empty, it should not take up any space.

 

I have not tried this solution, but it seems like it would work.

 

BTW, you may have to set the displayType of the supreport to NoPages so that nothing is produced when there are no records.
