I use the xml datasource.That's say,I retrieve the data from xml file by SAX.When I type"ant view",The message show"This document has no page."Even if it retrive no data from the datasource,it should display the title text.etc.doesn't it?

And,anyone can post me an example about retriving data from xml datasource?

In your XML, do you have

 

whenNoDataType="AllSectionsNoDetail"

 

?

 

The default is No Pages. It's possible you don't have AllSectionsNoDetail.

JasperExportManager and other queries

Dear

I am new to using jasper reports to generate reports .

I am using 0.6.4 version of jasper erports apis.I am facing following problems.

1- My JapserExportManager.exportToxxx() not works..e.g i use

JasperExportManager.exportReportToHtmlFile(jasperPrint,"c:\jasper.html");

 

but no file is created..please tell me how to export files to html,pdf.

 

2- I saw in jasper reports hjome page that it also supports excel sheet format but i could not find any class/method to export to excel file..please tell me how to export it to excel sheets.
