Hello =)
I just have a simple question...
Is X11 Window necessary to run JasperReports in a [Red-Hat] Linux environment?

Unless you plan on using the Swing based apps, I would imagine no. You can generate the excel, csv, html, pdf versions of the reports without X. I use it wrapped in a servlet on a headless Linux box with no X.

You can also install Xvbf on your server. I did it and it works well.
