AdHocView: how to change grouping on date dimension using VisualizeJs

Hi all, I'm embedding an AdHocView in my webapp.

My AdHocView has 1 dimension and 1 measure; the first dimension is a date field that is set to "day" as group summarizing. I know that I can change to "month" or any other period trough AdHocView Editor but how can I achieve this flexibility using VisualizeJs when my view is embedded?

This capability is a design consideration. API access to this type of designer feature is not yet a part of visualize.js.  I would suggest submitting an enhancement request through your customer success manager if you are a commercial customer with Customer Success.

What about linking two Ad Hoc Views? Is possible to manage click event from the firstView  and send some parameters included the desired summarization period (eg: "MONTH") to a second view and set the summarization period in this view by code to a specific parameter?

This would be possible - however, it may involve putting the adhoc view in a dashboard, so that the click event could be captured. Although setting the summarization level by parameter is not poossible - you may need to define separate ad hoc view for each level.

My colleague was able to link two ad hoc views without using a dashboard as a container object.

We've also contacted TIBCO support ... hoping that we can achieve the desired result without defining separate views.
