Stap to geometry not working properly ? (6.20.3)

The feature to "snap to geometry" is well displayed before releasing mouse click.

But after releasing click, the item placement is not what it previously displays.

Please find below my options and the before/after release of the click screenshots.

Note: this feature appeared when I upgraded from 6.20.0 to 6.20.3

I'm unable to reproduce.  Do you have a jrxml sample that shows this?

@sanderse Indeed, I did a minimal example from scratch. I was not able to reproduce. After further investigation I figured out that the elements and the panel had an exaggerated padding: the padding was causing this "expected" behavior.

The item "not snapping to geometry" was caused by exaggerated paddings on the container panel and on the elements.

=> Not a bug; seems to work as expeced => question closed
