Split detail band into a 3x3 grid

I have already create a sub report that can show all the data. The layout of this can been seen in the attachment. However, I would like create a sub report that form a layout with 3*3, like this:

| a1 | a2 | a3 |

___________

| a4 |      | a5 |

___________

|      | a6 |      |

Anyone can tell me how to make it?

I'm not sure I understand your exact requirements, but the following settings may give you a hint.

* Sub-report not used.

* The first paragraph is simply divided into 3 parts.

* The second paragraph is divided into two parts and set with more gaps.

* The third paragraph is not split but has a large left margin.
