Link report to Input Control

I think I am missing something very simple, please can you advise? I have created a single select IC like so, the id is Select_account

I don't think the definition of it really matters, but here is the rest:

The input control on the dropdown is working fine:

In my report, I have created a parameter called Select_account which I am putting in the query. As you can see the param name has exactly the same name as the id of the IC

When I upload the report I follow these steps. I link to resource and then select the IC from the server.

However when on the server, the report will not return any data. What step am I missing or doing wrong please? I can see that the parameter is populated properly as it comes up on the report

I'm on JasperStudio 6.18.1 and JasperServer I think 8.0.0
