Publishing report causes invalid DriverClass error

Hello,
when I try to publish a report with Jaspersoft Studio, with a local data source and the mysql jdbc driver
then I always get this error;

Reason: status code: 400. reason phrase: illegal.parameter.value.error
The value "com.mysql.jdbc.Driver" for parameter "DriverClass" is invalid.
