How do we remove a frame?

We had two fields and put them in a frame.  We want to remove the frame.  How do you do this?  When we pull up the context menu with the right mouse button, there is a Delete, but when we select it, it deletes the frame AND the fields in the frame.

You can remove a frame without removing the objects in it by editing the jrxml source.

1. I have a frame with two objects inside:

2. Click on the source tab and search for '<frame>'.  You may have several so make sure it is the one you want to remove.

3. Delete the frame tag and the corresponding reportElement tag

4. Go back to design and the frame around your objects is gone
