I don't know how to resolve this error 

SQL problems:

java.sql.SQLException: Unknown initial character set index '255' received from server. Initial client character set can be forced via the 'characterEncoding' property.

It suggests you include the character encoding in the JDBC URL in the connection. I did like 'jdbc:mysql://localhost/db_name?characterEncoding=latin1' and it worked for me
