Run report if paramente is not nulo

Hi folks,

I need help to set a correct aproach to the following problem:

I have a report with two java.util.Collection parameters (multi-select query).

The main dataset query for the the report is heavy load processing, in special if both parameters (that work as filters in SQL Where clause) are NULL.

So, any ideias to avoid running query when both parameters are null?

You can use a second parameter that depending on the nullability of one or tow collections holds a different where clause
