expression editor - if field1 > field2 text: credit amount else debit amount

Jaspersoft Studio 6.1.1

On a report I like to print the text "Guthaben/Credit Amount" if field1(value) is greater then field2(value) - else print "Nachzahlung/Debit amount"?

How to achive that?

I tried this recommended example:  (( $F{BETRAG} > $F{VORAUSZAHLUNG}) ? msg(Nachzahlung) : msg(Guthaben))

But error says: "the operator  ' > ' is not defined for argument type BigDecimal, int

If you are comparing a bigdecimal and an int, you should use .compareTo()
