Issues with courier font

Hi All,

I'm working on a java project that has output using Jasper in a PDF form. In the Java code I use Jasper to output to pdf, no jasper server involved. I added the courier font using extensions. I also checked that the characters are in the font file. All goes well but when I'm outputting the following data I get some unexpected data:

original data: ÉàáæçèéÆÅÄÃ

data on the document: ?É?á?ç?é??Ä?

Can anybody please tell me what is going on here and how to solve this?

Found the issue, needed to set the PDf encoding to CPF1252(Western European)
