Single Select input control problem on Firefox 79

We are using JasperReports Server 7.1.0 Professional.

Since Firefox released version 79, our single select input control display for a second after clicked, but closes before an option is selected by the user. Currently the input control cannot be used by Firefox users.

This seems to happen consistently when browser is maximized, but only on the first time when not maximized. Also only happens once when developer tools are open (no errors in console though).

Is there a solution to the problem? Maybe CSS/themes that need to be customized as was the case in: https://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/firefox-68-having-issue-ad-hoc-drop-down-list-selection
