Jasper reports not overwriting the old files

I have schduled a report in jaspser server to be generated at a location in every 20 minutes and i have named the ouput file as ABC.DE.FG
The output format selected for this file is .csv.

I have also checked in the box of Overwrite files option.

The file is generated in the target folder but the next consecutive file is not generated. When i deleted my older file than the new file is generated but again after that this file is not replaced by the new one. I want the old files to be overwritten by the new one and to be generated by the name (ABC.DE.FG) and do not wish to use the timestamp.

Any leads or approach for this issue?
