I'm facing an issue while connecting to jasperreport server repositories. My jasper report server is accessable by browser through an IP. but when I try to make a connection on jaspersoft studio I get an error.

Most of the time, Jaspersoft Studio connection to JasperReport Server connection problem is due to not using the corresponding versions of Jaspersoft Studio and JasperReports Server.
Jaspersoft Studio is connect to JasperReports Server through REST APIs and there's a slight differences between REST APIs in JasperReport Server versions.
Currently, I think JasperReports Server 7.x corresponds to Jaspersoft Studio 6.6
