Ad hoc View Data

I want to obtain Ad hoc view data from pgadmin(postgresql), it´s possible? or how can to obtain the data result of my ad hoc view for use in my java application? In another question i read "Ad Hoc views may be referenced as data sources in other repository types, in which case they are called advDataSource", someone have details about this?
