Field Selection in Adhoc View

I understand that we can setup input parameters to extend the filters to web interface. Is it possible to extend the field selection of Adhoc view to web?
Can I provide a way for the user to select the fields that he want to include in the view?
The same is it is possible for the measures?

I think this means you want users to design their own ad hoc view by allowing for the user to dynamically select fields, measures to go with the ad hoc view. I don't see this as possible. Fields and measures are added during design using the Ad Hoc Editor only.
