Maps in Jasper Reports Server 7.1

Hi, I'm new with Jasper Reports Server 7.1.

I’ve created a dashboard using the dashboard designer web based user interface. I created a pie chart and a table. The data is read from a HP Vertica Database. When a user clicks on a sector of the pie chart, the table gets filtered according to that selection.

Now I’d need to add a map to the dashboard to make use of the geolocated records I have in the database. I’ve been reading about integrating Google Maps but it’s not clear to me if I have to install an add-on or anything like that.

Can you let me know more about maps in Jasper Reports?
