Custom font not working on html markup text field

Hello!

I need to create a pdf template report with a custom font. I followed the tutorial on the following link - https://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/adding-fonts-embedding-pdf and I have a problem.

Indeed, all text fields with no markup are in the correct custom font, however, the text fields with the html markup are not rendered with the custom font. On top of that, if I remove the html markup, the font is applied but this is not what I want as the text I'm rendering contains lots of html markups.

How can I apply my custom font to fields with html markup?
