Can I create Dashboard on ireport designer 4.1

Hi,
I'm new to jaspersoft. I have ireport designer 4.1 installed on my machine at work. I don't have any idea whether it's a community or enterprise. I would like to know if it's possible to create interactive dashboard reports on it. If not, what are the requirements?

Simple answer. No.
Dashboards are available on JasperReports Server.

So, the next question is if I attempt to install jasperReorts Server myself on my machine, will that create any conflict with the designer that I have?

There is no conflict between ireport and the server; by default they are unaware of each other. However, it may not be easy to upload reports from the old version of ireport to the current version of the server.
You do need a commercial version of the server to use interactive dashboards.
