I'm currently working on a solution, to reuse the existing jasper report template project written in JAVA, ultimately to run it on IOS device to generate report locally.
After some searching on the net, found that there is this 'PDFReporter' open source library that could possibly make it happen.
I think i would like to use this PDFReport to integrate to my source code, replacing all the net.sf, then compile to xcode and use it in IOS device.
Can anyone let me know if this is something feasible?
As the market trend to use mobile device heavily on most of the application, somehow I think we need a way to generate pdf by the device itself.
Is there any chance Jasper report going to support this kinda function in near future?
