Hi,

I downloaded Jasperstudio 6.1.1 to create reports for my Oracle Apex application.

I'm new with Jasper report, I don't know if I need to install also iReport before, but I start with a data adapter and I can conntect Jasperstudio with my DB.

  • I click "New data adapter"
    • In JDBC Driver "Oracle.JDBC.driver.OracleDriver";
    • in JDBC Url "jdbc:oracle:thin:@server.myHostingProvider.com:1234:XE";
    • Username "myUserName";
    • Password "MyPassword".
  • I click Test and I have this error: Reason:java.lang.ClassNotFOundException: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
  • I click the DriverClasspath tab. I add the file ojdbc8.jar from my local installation. I retry.
  • Whe I click Test, the program is not able to continue and I must stop Jasperstudio from Windows Task Management tool.

THanks for the help.
