Excel jasper reports hiding cell borders in opaque mode

Not allowing conditional formatting in Excel after exporting reports into Excel (not highlighting, not allowing to "Fill")

Attempt to highlight a cell, doesnt work unless you double click.

using opaque mode to that column solves the prblm but cell borders also getting hidden

I dont want to apply borders, when we are applying conditional formatting in excel reports generated by jasper then background is not getting highlighted to those cell, but if we are applying opaque property to the cell then its is working fine but the cell borders are getting hidden with this opaque property.

Just tested if borders with background color will show when exporting to xlsx - it seems to be working. I'm using Jaspersoft Studio 6.4.0.

How are you applying borders? Are you selecting a text element and setting borders from "Properties" (lower right hand side of Jaspersoft Studio" - "Borders" tab?

hey if we are applying borders then those are visible, but they print on paper while printing.Normal excel cell borders are getting hidden in opaque mode so the excel report looking like white sheet with no borders betweens data
