Can I get a Conditional Style to work on the value in a Field

Hi,

I'm using Jaspersoft Studio 6.4.0.final and am a complete novice in using Jasper Reports.

I have a field CO_HIGHLIGHT which can contain the values RED or GREEN.

I have a Style that applies a Green background to a different field ADDRESS1 and want to make it conditional on the CO_HIGHLIGHT field containing 'GREEN'.

I have tried using EQUALS($F{CO_HIGHLIGHT},CHAR(GREEN)) in the Expression Editor and get the error 'GREEN cannot be resolved to a variable'.

Is it possible to do what I want using EQUALS or in some other way?

Thanks,

Chris
