How to move jasper reports input control from one server to another.

Hello,

I have created input controls in one server , Now same report if i want to use in another server how can i migrate my all the input controls to new server. I just dont want to create them again in another server.

Please suggest.

If the input control is defined in the report itself, then you need to export out the report and extract the input control from the report XML which has all the metadata for the report.

If the input control is created outside of the report and you are tagging it inside the report by using "Select an Input Control from the repository" option, then you can just export out the input control and import it in to the new server.

To export:

Right click on the input control and click export, you will get the XML files. This option visibility depends on your role in jasperserver
