Only a few objects are returned

When I use this plugin with Studio, I am only getting three of thirty expected "records". When I run the same REST call through curl or POSTMAN, I get all thirty expected "records". I haven't published the report to the JasperServer yet (and in fact I haven't put the adapter on the server yet), as I am only testing. Should running the report from Studio show me all records or just a few? If I use the "Refresh Preview Data" in the Dataset & Query dialog, I still only get three records (last night it was four). I can change the option to "first 100 (or 500 or 1000 or all) records" and it does not make a difference. The only thing that I can come up with is that I KNOW that the REST API uses a "chunked response".
