Hi,

I am new to Jasper. I am using Json input for my jasper report. The structure of Json is as follows

{
"ActualTransactions":
[
{"DATE":"06MAY15", "PAYMENT":"4000.00", "BALANCE":"4038.33"},
{"DATE":"09MAY15", "PAYMENT":"343.00",  "BALANCE":"3695.33"}
],
"EODTransactions":
[
{"DATE":"01MAY15", "BALANCE":"38.33"},
{"DATE":"02MAY15", "BALANCE":"38.33"},
{"DATE":"03MAY15", "BALANCE":"38.33"},
{"DATE":"04MAY15", "BALANCE":"38.33"},
{"DATE":"05MAY15", "BALANCE":"38.33"},
{"DATE":"06MAY15", "BALANCE":"4038.33"},
{"DATE":"07MAY15", "BALANCE":"4038.33"},
{"DATE":"08MAY15",  "BALANCE":"4038.33"},
{"DATE":"09JUN15", "BALANCE":"3695.33"}
]
}

I need to display the transactions in ActualTransactions and display summary for each month from EODTransactions. Do I need a subreport to achieve this functionality? Or is it possible using any other method in the main report itself? In the main report in jaspersoftstudio the default adapter only allows to select "ActualTransactions" or "EODTransactions", so how do I retreive values for summary if I select ActualTransactions to display list of transactions.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
