Hello,

I'm trying to upgrade to the latest version and getting a following error.  Could you let me know how to add the certificate to my keystore?

sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

you need to have two folder locations while updating the cacerts.

  1. cacerts location - this will be the same I believe
  2. keytool location - this will be in the jdk folder

location of cacerts : C:Program FilesTIBCOJaspersoft Studio Professional-6.2.0.finalfeaturesjre.win32.win32.x86_64.feature_1.8.0.u65jrelibsecurity

location of keytools : jdkbinkeytool

  1. Copy your certificates to the cacerts location
  2. open command prompt and change directory to this location of cacerts
  3. copy the path of keytool and paste it into the cmd, dont execute it yet.
  4. add this line after keytool location  -import -alias jspstudio_T -file CERTIFICATENAME.cer -keystore cacerts
  5. when prompted, enter the keystore password. as far as i know it would be changeit.
  6. when prompted, trust this certificate, say yes.
