JasperReports Server Change Colors in Heatmap

I made a heat map chart in an ad hoc view in JasperReports Server, but now I'm wondering if there's any way that I can change the default colors of red and green to black and white, for example. This page:

indicates that I can add the properties 'colorAxis.maxColor' and 'colorAxis.minColor' with the values of the colors that I want (in this case "#ffffff" and "#000000") to the Advanced tab of the Chart Format box. However, when I do so, neither the colours of the axis/legend or chart change. Is there something that I'm missing? Are these properties not available in JasperReports Server?
