How to add 'Current date' in Header of reports generated from Adhoc view in 6.2 jasper-Pro?

I am intrested in knowing the way how we can add asofdate='Current date' i.e on which date the report is run in the Header/Footer of any 'Report' generated from 'Adhoc view' in Japser 6.2 version?

ok its a complex one
1st you need to design a customized report template and add the current date parameter
Then you have to configure jasper so that the adhoc picks the the customized report and you are done.

Hi,
Is it okay if we have a report designed from iReport/Studio and embedd it in a dashboard along with the report from adhoc?
If its okay, you can design a report from iReport which would include just the page footer and last page footer.
