You connect Jaspersoft Studio to the JasperReports Server, and edit the jrxml.
Alternatively you can use Web Studio (if you have the commercial edition.)

The JSON_INPUT_STREAM parameter establishes access to the json parameter when using a JSON query.
The example includes subreports that handle the actual data. This allows you to query the original string for values.

Yes you can, although the property is missing in the UI.
The property "com.jaspersoft.jasperreports.jrs.bursting.job.local.folder" can be set in the "Advanced" tab in the "Bursting scriptlet edit dialog"
The value should be the local host path, in double quotes. ie., "C:\Downloads".
